Catalog note / 解説

Seto has been famous for its high quality porcelain and glass productions. Many kinds of glazed potteries have been produced here for more than 1300 years. The hills surrounding the city have layers of soil containing fine quality porcelain clay and silica. This design depicted one of these clay hills.
