Catalog note / 解説

"Heirin-ji" (Heirin Temple) in Saitama prefecture. It was founded about 600 years ago. It has the mausoleum of the Matsudaira clan. The temple is famous for not only its cultural heritage but also the beautiful cherry blossoms, the natural forest and groves which were once typical of Musashino plains.
