Monday, 8 September 2008 You are bidding on an EXTRA LARGE very beautiful, and special original Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “Camellia No 1” sized by the famous Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print Master Ikeda Shuzo (1922 -) published by CHIKUHO-DO, YOKOHAMA made around 1970s. The size of this woodblock print is 17 1/2 x 12 1/4 inches, which is larger than the traditional Shin-Hanga woodblock prints. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding through can be seen from the back of the original mulberry paper.
