Catalog note / 解説

This is a very cool old woodblock print from the 1950s by sosaku hanga printmaker Kaoru Kawano. It is oban size, about 14 x 10 (mat opening). It is framed in a black-finish wooden frame. I have not examined the print out of the frame, but it appears to be very nice. The color and impression are excellent.
