Wednesday, 28 December 2005 JAPANESE WOODBLOCK KAHO FISHING VINTAGE JAPANESE WOODBLOCK KAHO “Fish boat on moonlit sea” titled in pencil on the matting also with a signature in pencil that looks like Kaho. Japanese woodblock print (you can feel the texture of the impression when you run your finger over the paper) on a sheet of hand made paper (very fine columns) 10 ? X 7 ? inches. It is loosely attached at the upper corners to a backing sheet size 16 X 12 inches, which is torn and crumbling apart.
