Friday, 2 May 2008 YUKIO KATSUDA!! Signed and dated 1968, by Japanese artist Yukio Katsuda, this is a beautiful Serigraph (Silk Screen) of a tulip. This work is number 6 of 52 limited edition and is simply titled 'No. 22'. The signature, number, and characters are done in pencil. Written in light pencil on the back (lower right side) is: tulip and $50. There is also a series of 'characters' on the back, see photo. This piece measures 15" x 19" and is done on a fairly heavy paper. The size of the actual silk screen is 11 1/2" x 15 1/2". The condition is excellent!
