Monday, 11 August 2008 Up for auction here is a great looking , small edition , colored woodblock print by well collected Japanese modern print maker Tamami Shima (1937-1999). The subject matter of this work is Still Life with bowl of Fruit. It is being sold unframed and the print is being held into a newer matte with some old brown tape with wax paper backing. This work measures by image size only 14 1/2 inches high by 9 3/4 inches across. The piece would appear to have full margins. The total paper size comes to 16 inches high by 11 inches across. The piece is signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right margin. The work is also numbered 55/100 in pencil in the lower left corner. The…
