You are bidding on an original, Japanese, 5 color, woodblock, Sosaku-hanga, or Creative print, by listed artist Inagaki Tomoo (1902 - 1980) who was born in Tokyo. The subject features a marvelous modern, contemporary design of two cats, which Tomoo was most noted for, one of whom has turned towards you, as if hearing your approach. I estimate the execution date to be between the 1940's to mid 60's. PAPER SIZE: 6 1/2" x 4 1/2", hinged on a 7" x 5" coverstock. IMAGE SIZE: 6" x 4" CONDITION: EXCELLENT!
