This print is of Nakamura Ganjiro in the role of Kami-ya Harubei from the series, Figures of the Showa Stage, published by Banchoro in 1949. Ota Masamitsu is best known for his realistic portraits of the Kabuki actors capturing their individual personalities. His prints are striking and rare.
