"Yuugure" (The Dusk). A beauty in a formal black kimono and her daughter in a colorful kimono. A frontispiece illustration for a novel from Bungei Kurabu, vol.17, No.15. Bungei Kurabu was very popular literary magazine aimed at largely female readers in Meiji - Taisho era.
