This <i>uchiwa-e</i> (rigid fan print) design by the early 19th-century artist Utagawa Sadatora takes as its subject the painterly theme of the seven autumn flowers - morning glory, Chinese bellflower, bush clover, eulalia, creeper, 'ominaeshi', and boneset - which are shown blooming in the brightness of the full moon.
