Thursday, 11 May 2006 Up for auction is a beautiful Japanese Wood Cut Print of a very dynamic set if two black birds or crows by Ito Sozan. My parents purchased these prints in the mid 1970s in South East England. The have been carefully stored away. Condition: Excellent, one small pin size hole in the top right Colors: Bright & Dynamic subject matter Measures 15”h x 6 1/2"w Artist: Ito Sozan (1884-?) Title: “Two Crows in the Snow” Date: Early 1920s Publisher: Watanabe Shozaburo Image Size: 6 ?” x 14 5/8” Impression: Fine. Nice “bokashi”; nicely detailed carving Condition: Excellent.
