Catalog note / 解説

"Toyofu na Kabe" (Oriental Wall). Abstract depiction of the Orient. Hiroyuki Tajima was a leading abstract print maker after W.W.II. His abstract figures in richly textured colors acclaimed world wide recognitions in 1960-70s. Many of them seem to emit mysterious lights in dark space as if they were from the bottom of deep ocean.
