Hello there, Just came across your website amongst others and found it most interesting. Last weekend my wife and I purchased the two watercolours (attached) at a local market fair. We were told they were of Mongolian people but my wife who is japanese said they were definitely portraits of an elderly couple from her home country. They are very competently painted and signed fully 'Terauchi' with 'Fukutaro' in Kanji form. I was wondering whether it was unusual to come across this subject as most of the painting featured on websites are of landscapes.
