Fine Original Watercolor by Fukutaro Terauchi This atmospheric landscape by Fukutaro Terauchi depicts a snowy evening scene with two kimonoed figures passing under a Torii, or traditional gate to a Shinto shrine, and possibly approaching a temple. The whole scene is lit by reflective light from the snow. Measures 8.25 inches x 11.875 inches sheet size. Signed lower left. We have tested this painting and we warrant that it is an original watercolor, and that it is by Fukutaro Terauchi. Condition: excellent with either very even light yellow toning top quadrant and lower left corner, or an intentional colored “wash“ by the artist.
