Catalog note / 解説

From the woodblock print series, "Hanga Kyoto Ju-ni Kei" (Twelve Views of Kyoto). Three large sake barrels line up in front of the old brewery in Fushimi. Taizo is a famous dyer who had numerous awards and solo-exhibitions all over the world. He has made several woodblock prints. His prints have distinctive colors and style which apparently stem out from his experience as a dyer.
