Offered is Yoshitaka Nakao's "The Night Fortune Teller". Born in 1911, Nakao was briefly a student of the Sosaku Hanga master, Umetaro Azechi. In pencil at the bottom, the print is signed "Y Nakao", dated 1958, and numbered 10/100. Offered for sale is this Rare limited edition Japanese Woodblock Print by Yoshitaka Nakao Signed in Pencil, dated 1958. #10 of 100. Rarely available print, museum level artist. Margin to margin, the "The Night Fortune Teller" is 8.25" x 12". The image is 6.75" by 10.25". The white area of the collar has been hand-painted onto the print, as has the white of the eye.
