Thursday, 25 January 2007 Irises Limited Edition of 130 impressions These woodblock masterworks of the contemporary period - Tonight, we are excited to offer a fantastic collection of limited edition wood block prints by Japan's leading early 20th century artists. In the early 1960s, the Tanseisha publishing house produced a limited edition set of 20th century Japanese works of art, titled "A Selection of Famous Modern Japanese Prints". Included in this set were the beautiful prints offered in our auctions this evening. Each print design was released in a limited edition.
