Catalog note / 解説

"Goshiki-numa". The grain patterns of the woodblock were utelized for the reflection of Bandai mountain on Bishamon Pond of Goshiki-numa Ponds. These ponds were formed when Mt. Bandai erupted in 1888. The different mineral contents and vegetaions add various shades of red, blue and green colors to the ponds.
