Monday, 31 October 2005 You are bidding on a very rare and beautiful original Japanese woodblock print “Nursing Mother” signed by the famous Japanese Showa Shin-Hanga cartoonist/artist Takidaira Jiro (1921-). Takidiara was born in 1921. Takidaira Jiro was specialized in Japanese cartoon style Shin-Hanga. His woodblock prints are hard to be found and sells for thousands of dollars in Japan today. The size of this woodblock print is 13 1/4x 10 1/2 inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. This woodblock print is not attached any backing paper or cardboard.
