Sunday, 26 March 2006 JAPANESE WOOD BLOCK PRINT with TOBACCO STORE FLAG, GEISHA, OLD TIME HOTEL, RESTAURANT, BUSINESS HOUSE at NIGHT - SIGNED. The moonlit evening shows a lot of activity. The flag is for a cigarette / tobacco shop; a geisha walking; an old time hotel / business house; a vegetable vendor pushing a cart; and more. I was told this piece and many others I purchased were obtained by the original owner ( the seller's father) in Japan in the 1960's, however I don't really know the age of the wood block prints.
