Catalog note / 解説

Snow in Fushimi. Superbly printed with metallic gold pigment and hand sprayed gofun in imitating falling snow. Some of the trees in the background were hand painted with gofun to give a sense of the veil of snow in the distance. Very rare and exquisitely made.
