Catalog note / 解説

"Daitokuji Takagiri-in" (Daitoku Temple Takagiri villa). Takagiri pavillion at Daitoku temple in Kyoto in autumn. The compound was built by lord HOSOKAWA Tadaoki in 1601 as the memorial for his late father. It is known for the tea house which was used by Senn-no-Rikyu and the beautiful fall colors.
