Thursday, 7 July 2005 Original woodblock print of a maiko in a beautiful kimono. Artist unknown. Fine color, condition and impression. Very skillfully made. Nice texture and ink bleedthrough on fine washi. Silver mica adds to the many details. 16.4 x 12.8 inches. This print has never been framed. Artist's character and red seal in lower left of image. The kanji on that print seems like 「浮」 or 「淳」. If it`s 「浮」, the kanji is in 「浮世絵」. That`s why you thouht you knew the kanji??
