Catalog note / 解説

"Edo Murasaki Gojuyon Cho" No.2. "Hahakigi". The series design was alluded to the chapters of the Tale of Genji. Prince Genji in red kimono is restraining a man with a sword in ninja garb. The background was done by Kunisada's pupil, Kuniteru.
