Catalog note / 解説

"Meisho Edo Hyakkei" (One Hundred Famous View of Edo). "Bakuro-cho, Hatsune no Baba" Hatsune Horse Riding Ground which was actually an idle open space in Hiroshige's time. Dyers from Konya-cho several blocks away are using the ground for drying their cloth. A tall fire-watch tower is on the background.
