"Kanadehon Chushingura" Act.1. Lady Kaoyo (played by Iwai Hanshiro) is identifying a war helmet of her former lord in front of shogun Ashikaga Takauji (green robe: played by Nakamura Sojuro). Other feudal lords, Momoi Wakasanosuke (yellow robe: Onoe Kikugoro), the lord of 47 Ronin Enya Hangan (blue robe: Ichikawa Sadanji) and the villain Kono Moronao (black robe: Ichikawa Danjiruo) are present.
