This genuine period printed woodblock print is by Toyoharu KUNICHIKA (1835-1900), one othe distinguished Meiji period artists. This print of revelers out after a party is from the series "Fifty-four Modern Feelings [Compared to the Chapters of Genji]," 1884. Behind them is a restraunt with lanterns full of partiers, the moon lighting the scene. This is an absolutely exquisite impression dusted with mica with perfect color in perfect condition. You rarely see prints in this fine condition. It measures about 10 x 14 3/4 inches.
