Catalog note / 解説

Koman is swimming with a white flag of the Genji clan. Saito Sanemori stands at the head of Heike general Taira Munemori's boat. He tries to catch her from the water using a long oar. From the kabuki play, "Genpei Nunobiki no Taki".
