Artist: Kunisada Format: Chuban tate-e: 9.75" x 7" Subject: Prince Genji and his concubines under a flowering Cherry tree, beside a large lacquer chest containing brocade fabrics. From the series Ima Genji Nishiki-e Awase. Publisher: Sanoki Date: c. 1850 Condition: Fine colors. Slightly trimmed. A stain at centre left edge. Minor creases, marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage and lacquer.
