Double Bijin Okubi-e Artist: Utamaro I Format: Oban tate-e: 15" x 10.25" approx Subject: A handsome double bijin design of two young women drying themselves after a bath by Utamaro, from the series Furyu goyo no matsu - Elegant Five-needled Pine. The set is known with the seal of two different publishers. This example has no publisher's mark and is possibly therefore a saihan edition. Date: c.1797-8
