"Masakiyo Sankan Taiji Zu". Two strong Samurai warriors are attacking Korean soldiers. General Kato Kiyomasa (or Masakiyo: 1562-1611) led the 200,000 soldiers for Toyotomi Hideyoshi's ambition to conquer China by way of Korea. The Korean Expedition was a popular subject in Meiji era especially during the Sino-Japanese war ( 1894-5). .
