"Dainippon Meisho Kagami" (Mirror of Famous Generals of Japan). Sakanoue Tamuramaro (751-811) prayed to Buddha while battling against Ebisu barbarians. Buddha's guardian god sent the shower of arrows to the barbarians to rescue Tamuramaro. .
