Wednesday, 3 May 2006 ARTIST: Chikanobu FORMAT: Oban, Triptych. (14" x 29"). TITLE: The first three Shoguns of Tokugawa Dynasty. DATE: 1885. DESCRIPTION: Yeyasu, the first Shogun is depicted on the right, the second, Hidetada and the third Yemistsu with their wives. PUBLISHER: Komiyama Shohei. CONDITION: The 3 sheets joined. A strong vertical fold mark to left edge of right sheet with some perforation, minor marks and flaws otherwise good impression and colour. Retains Japanese album backing. ESTIMATED VALUE
