Artist: Chikanobu (1838-1912) Format: O-ban (approx37cm x26cm) Subject: This work is a bijin-ga ( print of beauty) by Chikanobu ( 1838-1912). This print is included in his famous series " Snow, Moon, Flower" printed in 1899 and represents a beauty and her daugther preparating the girl's festival the 3 march of each year in Japan. A very beautiful print.
