"Deer Strolling along Kasuga Shrine, Nara". Deer has been considered as the sacred animal of Kasuga shrine. There are about 1200 deer in the Nara park and Kasuga shrine area. They are protected and very friendly to the visitors. No later reprints were made from this 1936 edition.
