Saturday, 13 January 2007 TWILIGHT AT KIBA LUMBER YARD…by KAWASE HASUI…1883-1957…please examine all photos closely. I believe the marks to be original and accurate. In addition to these marks, there is the number 77 in pencil on both the mounting board and the mat and the print is titled in pencil on the mounting board…'KIBA TWILIGHT by Hasui one of Japans foremost artists' .This print image is about 9 1/2" by 14 1/4" on a 10 1/2" by 15" paper. It is adhered at the corners to a 13" by 20" piece of light mat board (?).I would doubt this to be archival and would recommend remounting.
