Reeds sway in the morning wind at the edge of Lake Yamanaka. The clouds, depicted in great clumps, have accumulated midway up the mountain. They start to dissipate quietly as the mountain peak is illuminated by the morning sun in the eastern sky.' A magnificent Hasui design. Publisher: Watanabe (seal E) Date: November 1936 Condition: Full size. Light toning to paper. Minor creases, marks and flaws. Generally good state. Colour: Good Impression: Fine with gauffrage.
