From the series "Nihon Hana Zue" ("Flowers of Japan"). Hachiman Taro Yoshiie (1041 - 1108) was a renowned archer. He made a famous poem while crossing the Nakoso barrier, "I thought this gusty barrier was a mere name, but why do the wild cherry blossoms so cover the path?" Here, in the more peaceful time, He rides on a horse. He and his followers are looking at the flowering cherry trees on the hill.
