"Kikumi" ("Viewing Chrysanthemums"). Illustration of a girl putting chrysanthemums to her hair ornament for a novel in Bungei Kurabu Vol.8, No.12. Bungei Kurabu was a very popular literary magazine in Meiji-Showa era. This design was selected for the cover of the reference book by Merritt, "Woodblock Kuchi-e Prints".
