Frontispiece illustration for the novel "Yume-gatari" ("dream talk") in Bungei Kurabu magazine; vol.7, no.11. Bungei Kurabu was a popular literary magazine which was aimed at largely female readers in Meiji - Taisho era. In this scene, a beauty is taking a walk holding a bunch of spring flowers and a Western style umbrella. A pagoda is seen through the mist.
