Catalog note / 解説

Moon at Matsushima, by Shiro Kasamatsu. In the left margin are title, Unsodo publisher's seal, Shinmi printer's seal, Nagashima carver's seal, and Unsodo watermark. Kasamatsu signature and red seal in right of image. The mark in the right margin and the cut-out in the bottom right corner (known as a 'kento cut') are due to the printing process. This is a mid-edition by the original Unsodo printer of the first edition (Shinmi), not by the recent Unsodo printer.
