From the series of 4 prints, "Tokei to Bijin, II" (Clock and Beauty, II) commissioned by the watchmaker Hotta. The series depicts various beauties and clocks, which had been progressively developed from the Edo to the different periods. Here, a lady in formal attire in Meiji period.
