Saturday, 2 December 2006 TAKEJI ASANO -First Edition - Japanese Orignal Woodblock Print - Night Scene of Street Stall, ca1949 "Yomise" (Night Scene of Street Stall) by Takeji Asano (1900 - 1999). Original First Edition woodblock print dated Showa 24 (1949). Please notice title on print;" scene" is spelled "SCIENE" which is correct for first edition. Red Takeji seal lower right margin. English and Japanese title on bottom. Unsodo publisher's seal, Mori carver's seal, Sugimoto printer's seal in left margin and red artist's seal in left margin. Good ink bleed through. Excellent color, very good overall condition, some light toning and ceasing on the left bottom corner, stains on margin. Full…
